'Tokai' is Japanese for metropolis.
A smoky, earthy scent with sweet undertones of vanilla.
This scent reminds us of our uncle taking us out for dinner in Tokyo. We’d sit in the warm, wood-accented restaurants, the distant smell of tobacco mixing with the earthy scent of the wooden structure. The sweetness of umeshu lingered in the air, adding a touch of sweetness to the robust atmosphere. We’ve tried to recreate that experience with Tokai, a woody and musky scent with a sweet base that blends all those components together.

White Sandstone is renowned for its pristine appearance, boasting a predominantly snowy white exterior with minimal variations. While primarily white, this variant may occasionally exhibit faint traces of yellow or banding, enhancing its unique appeal.
Banded Sandstone is the most notable, commonly seen throughout Sydney. It showcases beautiful yellow/beige tones with intermittent iron bands, resulting in a mix of light and heavy-coloured veins. On rare occasions, hints of pink blush tones occur, adding a unique charm to its appeal.
Earth Brown Sandstone is our darkest variant, characterised by deep, warm brown tones and rich iron banding. Its surface often reveals striking layers of caramel, chocolate, and rust hues, formed naturally over millions of years. Each piece carries a sense of depth and grounding, with the bold contrast of its banding patterns making it a statement within any collection.

Tokai smells incredible- its soft and earthy, then this smooth, slightly sweet tobacco . It’s comforting, a bit nostalgic, and feels like late summer in a candle.
