RCK Candles are crafted with natural wooden wicks for a cleaner burn and warmer ambiance. Wooden wicks typically have excess black charred wood left over after a burn. To maintain optimal performance and safety, simply trim the charred wood to a length of 3 - 6 mm before each lighting using a wick trimmer or scissors. Trimming prevents excess smoke and ensures your candle burns beautifully.

Our soy-wax candles burn for 30 - 40 hours. Please note that many variables affect the burn time of a candle, such as room temperature, humidity, air drafts, length of each burn interval, and many more. We've crafted our candles for quality and longevity, please follow the candle care provided to ensure your candle burns optimally.

Yes, this is completely normal for the sandstone to heat up slightly and become warm. However, please do not attempt to move the stone or touch the stone when the candle is lit as this may lead to injury, and/or damage. Ensure you place stone and burn candle in a safe space.

No need to worry! This is called candle "sweating" and is totally normal, especially in warmer weather or during shipping. We cure our candles for over 2 weeks to ensure a strong fragrance bond so you don't have to worry about sweating causing damage!

We prioritise safety whilst elevating your experience! Our unique sandstone holder goes beyond a typical candle. It insulates the candle to provide a more even burn, whilst adding many safety points. After 1 - 2 hours of burning, the stone will only get warm, this means no accidental burns like you can get with other candles. Also, due to its weight and shape, it is much harder to knock it over, especially good for those with kids and pets around! Lastly, the sandstone looks amazing and is what sets RCK Candles apart from other candles. Because of this, we do not recommend you burn the candle alone without the sandstone candle holder.
